New Albany topped a successful week on the hardwood with an impressive 72-47 win at Columbus Thursday night.
Picking up a 70-20 win over Kossuth Tuesday night, the Bulldogs took their tenacious defense on the road, opening the game scoring 28 straight points before Kevin Hargrove put Columbus on the board with less than a minute remaining in the first. Holding the Falcons to that single basket in the frame, Tadarious Coburn led the ‘Dawgs with 14 first half points, as New Albany went to the break up 43-14.
