New Albany’s season came to an end Monday night, falling in game three of their third round series against Amory, 6-1.

“Early on, we got behind on some counts, got some walks and they got some big hits,” NAHS head coach John Walker said. “They just beat us tonight. They got a better starting performance on the mound than we got, and he (Will Cox) was probably better tonight than he was the other night, in my opinion. He challenged us tonight, and we fell a little bit short.”
