Last season, New Albany entered Ecru with a senior laden team and an undfeated record. With the roles reversed this year, the Bulldogs hope to play the spoiler role and even their home record, hosting North Pontotoc on Friday.
“Their offense is their strong point, and they play solid defense as well,” NAHS coach Ron Price said. “With it being about seven miles to Ecru, this has turned into a good rivalry between the schools the last three years, and to top it off, it’s a division game.”
