    The New Albany Lady Bulldogs basketball team has made our community proud, winning the state championship in Class 4A Friday night in Jackson.

    Despite clear and conclusive evidence that second-hand smoke is killing people, the Mississippi Legislature again has failed to pass a bill prohibiting smoking in public places.

    Too often we hear people suggest that there is not enough to do in New Albany. We suppose that depends on how active a person or family you have, but mostly we don’t subscribe to that view.
