I was taking the kitchen trash bag out to the garbage can at the side of the house Saturday morning when a car rolled to a stop in front of our house. Before the couple could get out, I pointed down the street to where a yard sale was under way and they moved on.
It was 5:30 in the morning and I had just slipped into jeans and a shirt so I could take the dogs on their morning walk around the neighborhood. Now I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror, trying to do something about my hair.
We felt a little odd Friday night at the New Albany football game against Ripley. It’s not that we felt out of place. We love football and we’ve already adopted the Bulldogs as our new high-school team (I even have the mandatory maroon knit shirt.)
