The Rode’o Salon is now open at 132 West Bankhead Street in the old Hamilton Hardware building.

Rode’o Salon will be open Monday through Saturdays from 9 a.m. with no designated closing time. The salon will offer men and women’s haircuts, shampoo and style, perm, straightening, coloring, highlights, manicures and pedicures, acrylic, eyebrow, lip and facial waxing, and other services. Walk-ins are welcome.

“I am bringing a sense of glamour and elegance to New Albany. We offer high-end convenience with a full salon,” said Owner Rita Ladner.

During Tuesday's Union County board of supervisors meeting, postponed because of a mid-winter conference in Jackson as well as being closed Monday, Cook Coggins Engineering, Inc. requested reimbursement  for construction completed for a new runway and T-hangar at the New Albany/Union County Airport.

Joel Sanchez, 611 New Street, New Albany, 22, was charged with DUI, no insurance, no license and improper equipment on Jan. 16, 2009, at 10:54 p.m.

Guadercio Reyes, 611 New Street, New Albany, 41, was charged with public drunkenness on Jan. 16, 2009, at 10:54 p.m.

Allyson Elaine "Hoffman" Ard, 1299 CR 73, Myrtle, 25, was charged with grand larceny warrants and telephone harassment on Jan. 8, 2009, at 7:55 p.m.

Martell V. Clemmer, 406 Jackson Ave., New Albany, 24, was charged with disorderly conduct, disobeying an officer and public drunkenness on Jan. 9, 2009, at 2:05 a.m.

Crystal Eageston, 140-1A Bails Road, Ripley, 35, was charged with possession of controlled substance x 2 on Jan. 9, 2009, at 11:05 a.m.

Joey Hale, 1234 HWY 355, Etta, 29, was charged with telephone harassment on Jan. 9, 2009, at 1:30 p.m.
