Pam Browning Boman and Rob Anderson moved on from a field of 13 candidates for Union County coroner Tuesday.
Boman led all candidates with 833 votes, while Anderson was close behind with 651 votes.
Of the 16,026 registered voters in Union County, only 3,729 voters, or 23.27 percent, cast ballots in the special election.
Two hundred and ten absentees were counted among the results. Nine affidavit ballots, votes cast by persons whose names were not listed in the voter rolls, were also cast but have not been counted yet.
