New Albany Middle School student Merlyn Potts,11, was the recent winner of the 2010 Union County Fair Bake Off at the Union County Fair and Livestock Show. She won for overall and most original.

New Albany’s Family Resource Center, Fairview Apartments and the Union County Health Department collaborated earlier this summer and developed a summer youth development program for ages 10-18.
