Harris is the granddaughter of Dorothy Chunn of Saltillo, Nickey and Cathy Gliatta of Raliegh, NC, James and Mary Montgomery of Pontotoc, Melvin and Jewel Harris of Tupelo, and the late Kennith and Jean Kirk of Enterprise, Miss. She is a 2004 graduate of West Union Attendance Center.

    Mr. Alan Newby and Ms. Sandy Newby of Myrtle are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Lauren Brooke Newby of Myrtle to Samuel Chase Jeter of Myrtle. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. lee Allan (Bo) and Connie Garrison of Myrtle and Mr. Reece and Francis Newby of Myrtle. She graduated from West Union Attendance Center from 2007. She is attending Northeast Mississippi Community College and is currently pursuing an Associate degree in Nursing. She is employed as an assistant at West Union Medical Clinic.   • Austin Lepard turned 3 years old.

    Austin Allen Lepard recently celebrated his third birthday with family and friends at home. He turned three on February 21, 2009. He is the son of Melodi Lepard and Richard Lepard of New Albany. His sister is the late Alexandra Lepard. His grandparents are Vicki and Richard Roberts and Shelly Betts. He is the great-grandson of the late Jo-Ann Lepard, the late Charlie Lepard and the late Richarrd Roberts, and Louise Roberts. His great-great-grandparents are Mae Roberts and Curtis and Bessie Roberts, all of New Albany. The party's theme was cars.

     

  • Sam Windham turned four years old.

    Samuel Allen Windham just celebrated his fourth birthday at home with friends and family. He turned four years old on March 14, 2009. He is the son of Alisha and Jason Windham of New Albany. He has a six-year-old sister named Heather Ann Windham. Samuel is the grandson of Audrey Page of New Albany, Randall Holloway of New Albany, Sammy and Mildred Windham of Carthage, Miss. and Pat and Lonnie Brown of Amory, Miss. His great-grandparents are Mae Roberts and Curtis and Bessie Roberts, all of New Albany, Lorene Warren of Amory and Wilburn and Billie Holloway of Pontotoc.

    Bruce and Janet Jones of Dumas and Ronnie and Donna Blythe of Baldwyn, Miss. are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Whitney Jones of Baldwyn, Miss. to Scotty Andrews of New Albany, Miss.     Christy Frazier Suggs and John Suggs Jr. of Saltillo welcomed daughter Rylee Grace Suggs into the world on February 6, 2009 at 2:03 p.m. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and 17 ¾ inches long. She is the granddaughter of Clyde and Margaret Frazier of Myrtle and Ramona Kendrick of Columbus.
