Count me convinced - grandparenting is the reward for having survived the years of parenting.  Now that’s not to be interpreted as a negative toward parenting, becaue being a parent is one of the most challenging and important and crucial and rewarding tasks of life.

Greetings from our corner of the world.  All is well on Hardy Hill; we're just looking forward to that cold front the weatherman has been telling us is coming.  By the time this hits the news it will be August and, as we know, the weather will begin to cool down soon after.

The countryside is abloom with fields of Black-eyed Susans and the area soybean crops look better with the recent showers.  I saw the first pink lady lily blooming last week, so it is approximately six weeks until fall.  Back-to-school traffic will be hectic with the construction on Highway 15 and at the Highway 346 intersection.
