We were able to enjoy a day with light showers falling instead of a hot sunshine coming down in full force.  It was still hot but not like it had been for the last few days with the heat of the sun. 

There’s a chart written down in some book I’ve read that gives the appropriate gift type for each anniversary. I don’t remember what #43 was according to the “list,” but for me it was music.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Levi Houston Pannell who was buried at Ellistown last Saturday.  Houston, Sue, and their family are long time members of the community and dear to the hearts of people who know them.  Our prayers are with the family.
