Last week was a wonderful week weather wise. This has been a beautiful fall so far. So far the weather predictions are for much colder weather this week. Guess that will help these old bones ache more. I have certainly enjoyed all the beautiful colors.
Anne Glidewell, Robert and Robbie Frazier were welcome visitors here during the week.
The beautiful, fall foliage from the flat woods to the hill country at the western edge of the community is a sure sign that winter is on the way. It was an exciting month for the community during the past few weeks as visitors to the corn maze at Shady Grove and to the haunted forest at Hurricane made for busy traffic during October.
What a beautiful Sunday morning. The sun is shining, the fall leaves are floating downward as they flirt with the soft blowing breezes, and my crepe myrtle tress are beautifully dressed in their fall attire. According to our weather prediction I had best enjoy them today because by next Sunday the weather will be much cooler.
The days are cooler and it is a welcome relief for many of us that work outside. The summer was so hot this year or it seemed so maybe because I’m getting a little older. I hope you are enjoying the weather as much as I am, especially the rain we’ve had the last few days.
