Hello, Eagles! I hope everyone had a great week. This week I will start with sports, and then I will move on to upcoming events and other topics.
The cross-country team will have their last meet before state on Oct. 29. It will be in Saltillo. The state meet will be in Clinton at 11 a.m. on Nov. 5.
The junior high basketball team will have a game on Oct. 27 versus Pine Grove. They will also have a game against North Pontotoc on Oct. 31.
On Oct. 28 we will have the Fall Festival. It will start at 4 p.m. There will be a haunted shack and many other exciting activities.
FBLA and Yearbook Staff is selling fruit and meat. If you would like to support them, just see a member of FBLA. FBLA will be raising money for March of Dimes from Nov. 7 through Nov. 18.
Well, I wish I had I had more news, but there hasn’t been very much going on at West Union. Hopefully there will be more to tell next week. I will leave you with a quote from W. Clement Stone. He once said, “Be careful the environment you choose for it will shape you; be careful the friends you choose for you will become like them.”
