Supervisors to send stray dogs to Tupelo Humane Society

At Monday morning’s county board of supervisors meeting, the board approved to enter into an agreement between Union County and the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society.

Under the agreement, it states that according to the ordinance, the county wishes to transport dogs impounded pursuant to the ordinance to TLHS, to care for and feed the animals and to place them for adoption or euthanasia at TLHS’s discretion.
