Congratulations to Laklin Williams, two-year-old daughter of Jess and Anna Williams, for winning the Walking to Three-year-olds category at the Benton County Fair Aug. 23. Her grandmother, formerly of Sherman, is Cindy Williams. Her granddad is Chuck Williams, and her proud great grandparents are Clarence and Jane Westmoreland of Sherman.  

A shower for Liz Taylor and Chaz Carillo will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 9,  at Waterbrook Church.

Brotherhood was held at 7 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 2, at Tri-County Baptist with Michael Hollings as the speaker.
