As soon as it starts to rain, my wife is ready to do laundry.

Over in Florence, Ala., where we still own a house, we’ve got city sewers, and for Jenny, that’s just a step or two from heaven. She reminded me of it last weekend after Florence had gotten 14 inches of rain in three days.
