An in-county battle is delayed due to recent rains in the area.
After picking up the game one victory on the road last Friday, Myrtle will have to wait for the next game versus the Falcons.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, the game was moved to Monday afternoon at 3:30, but after steady rains all morning, the teams have agreed on a 7 p.m. match-up Tuesday night.
The Hawks took the surprising 1-0 series lead after defeating the favored Falcons 6-2.
Justin Hood held the Falcons to only three hits, while Beau Cummings led Myrtle with four hits. With the loss, Josh Hodges' perfect season ended, as he is now 10-1.
Be sure to read the New Albany Gazette on Friday for a complete series wrap-up.
