Wells, 89

Lloyd George Wells, 89, of New Albany, a retired employee of the Mississippi Forestry Commission, died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North Mississippi.

Born in Quitman County, he was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Marine Corps. He was also retired from the National Guard, and also worked at Kellwood. He attended Northside Baptist Church in New Albany, he was a Mason and enjoyed gardening.
