La Marcus King, 16, of Houston, formerly of New Albany, died Monday, April 13, 2009 as the result of a Houston automobile accident.

Arrangements are incomplete as of this time.  Serenity Funeral Home - New Albany is in charge of arrangements.

Laura Hale, 90

Laura Mae Hale, 90, of Myrtle, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She was born Dec. 23, 1918, in Arkansas to Sailaus and Ola Henderson Boulas. She was a homemaker and a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.
