Northeast Mississippi Community College head baseball coach Kent Farris has a saying about results.
“Winning is not a goal of ours,” Farris said. “Winning is the result of doing things the right way.”
For Farris, doing things the right way has come in the form of a 144-141 overall record during his first six year as the head signal caller for Northeast after taking over for Ray Scott in 2007.
During that time, Northeast has qualified for the playoffs in four of the veteran coach’s six years in Booneville.
