New school year and a magazine

I’ve thought of several ways to go about my first column of the new school year, and it seemed best to take this time to do a little housekeeping business from the summer.
I’ll start by saying I’m thrilled for this weekend and the start of the new softball and football seasons. Summer is both a good and bad time for me as I get the much needed rest and relaxation from the previous school year, but let’s be honest, I’m over that in about a week, then anxiously awaiting the day I can hit the ball fields again.
