New Albany vs. Lafayette

Here are some friendly FYI points for this Friday night's showdown of unbeatens in New Albany. All information is provided via NAHS Athletic Director Shane Sanderson:

* Tickets for the game go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 16, at NAES, NAMS and NAHS. Tickets are $7, and both students and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to avoid long lines at the ticket gates Friday night.

* There will be a community bonfire/pep rally for New Albany fans on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at the New Albany Sportsplex. The bonfire is courtesy of the New Albany Fire Department.

* NAHS is currently working to add bleachers to the home side on the track in the area of the concession stands. This area will be marked off and available only for New Albany fans.

* Not much information on extra parking as of right now. Once I hear more, I'll post that for everyone.

* Other NAHS athletics rescheduled for the weekend:
-Basketball vs. Columbus has been moved from Friday night, Nov. 19 to Thursday, Nov. 18 in Columbus.

-Soccer will no longer travel to Ridgeland this weekend, but will play New Hope on Saturday.
