Saturday is a good time for families to get acquainted or re-acquainted with the Union County Heritage Museum in New Albany.
The museum will have its annual Heritage Pioneer Days, a living history event that shows off the rural life of the area in days gone by.
The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the museum grounds at 114 Cleveland St.
There is a long list of activities. Some are mule-powered farming, woodworking, blacksmithing, shucking and shelling corn, weaving and dyeing, basket making and washing clothes with tubs and a rub board.
