I am a Pit Bull owner. My husband and I own a “red nose pit” named Highway. I was alerted to the story in your paper by my husband while I was at work today. 

The first thing I did was go to City Hall to do my duty as a citizen and register my dog, because that is the law now. I had already taken issue with this ordinance because it seems to single out Pit Bull dogs or bull terriers.
