Tuesday night was a big night of basketball in Union County as the Myrtle Hawks squared off with the Bulldogs in New Albany.
Memorial gym was rocking as both sides cheered on their favorites, but in the end it was the Myrtle fans who had the most to cheer about as their girls won 63-54 and their boys won 81-57.
The Lady Hawks worked hard in the first half to establish a sound lead over the then-undefeated Lady Dogs.
"We played good the first half. Elizabeth Cobb had some good layups and Amber Williamson made some key plays," Lady Hawks coach Chris Greer said.
