Three weeks ago on Tuesday, Ingomar baseball took a huge hit in losing junior pitcher Tyler Dowdy after a fall in practice that broke his arm. What appeared to be a season-ending injury turned out to be only a minor setback, as Dowdy returned to the mound on Monday night against H.W. Byers.
“I went to Dr. Lewis, and I was going to have to have surgery, but he was able to reduce the break, and they said I didn’t have to have surgery,” Dowdy said.
