The Bulldogs do not need a lot of motivation for their game this week at Lafayette. With the packed crowd and excitement surrounding last season’s battle of unbeatens, New Albany was unable to top the tough Commodore squad, led by Jeremy Liggins. Using that loss as motivation throughout the offseason, the Bulldogs are more than prepared to hit the field tonight.
“It was a big disappointment. We played soft and had a lot of turnovers and miscues and the motivation was just to get better and come out and beat them this year,” senior Cade Simmons said.
