West Union closed out the regular season and claimed the number two seed in Division 2-1A after defeating Myrtle, 13-5, on Tuesday.
Will Basil pitched the complete game, striking out nine batters and allowing eight Hawk hits and two earned runs.
At the plate, Basil was one of four Eagle batters with multiple hits, going 2-for-3 with one RBI and a double. Hunter McQuary, Chase Bogue and Taylor English each went 2-for-5, as the Eagles finished the regular season at 11-10 (8-2).
