Citizens of New Albany, your board of aldermen will be meeting tonight at 5 p.m. at the City Hall. Topics for discussion will be the budget for fiscal year 2010-11.
The board will also open bids for some upcoming construction out at the city/county airport.
I asked the city clerk if there were any new drafts on the proposed landlord and noise ordinances, but was told that the aldermen had not resubmitted either one. The board was supposed to discuss and potentially vote on the ordinances at the Aug. 3 meeting, but decided to postpone the matter until Ward Four Aldermen Bill Tucker would be back with the group. I'll try to let you know as soon as I hear anything.
