The Camerons renew their vows

Annette Cameron (Dozier) and Rayfield Cameron Sr.  of New Albany are renewing their wedding vows after 34 years of marriage on Saturday, February 21, 2009. They were married on February 22, 1975 in Annette's grandmother's home. Annette is the daughter of Tommy Lee Dozier Sr. and the late Autry Dozier. Her grandparents are the late Wesley Ford and Inez Ford and the late Richard Dozier and Julia Dozier, all of New Albany. Annette is employed by Allpro Bonding in Tupelo as a bail bondsman.

Rayfield is the son of Lawrence Cameron and Eula Cameron. He is the grandson of the late Willis Booth and Jessie Booth and the late Howard Cameron and Bessie Cameron, all of Blue Mountain. Rayfield received a bachelor's degree in 2002, a master's degree in 2005, and graduated from North Carolina College of Theology in 2008 with a doctorate in theology. He is employed as a pastor at Greater Mt. Olive C.O.G.I.C. in Tiplersville, Miss.

The Camerons have five children and they include: Rheakesha Vaughn, Kandis Randle, Rayfield Cameron Jr., Efrem Cameron, and Ignatius Cameron. Their six grandchildren include: Marcus Green, Kiaisa Cameron, Cameron Randle, Kenyon Randle, Marcus Cameron, and Micalynn Cameron.

The ceremony will take place on February 21, 2009 at 3 p.m. at St. James C.O.G.I.C. in Ripley, Miss. Spt. Bernell Hoyle will be the officiating minister. The reception will take place in the fellowship hall. Family and friends are invited and the couple asks that any gifts be monetary. The children of the couple and the children in the church are in charge of the reception.
