The Union County School Board this week had to decide whether to continue on a course of upgrading the electrical systems in its schools or set out on a different course.
The issue was whether the board should consider making an offer to purchase the Union County Co-op building on Bankhead Street to remodel for use as a band and chorale facility, an auditorium and for classrooms for advanced placement courses.
